  First time visiting, and I must say that I am very impressed! You can tell that they take great pride in their menu, cooking is immaculate and from scratch. The service is exceptional, I never had to ask for anything, server made sure I was well taken care of for the evening. The decor fits the golfing community, and they were ingenuous in the TV placings. I didn't miss a second of the football playoffs no matter where I sat. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I want to come back and see if this type of service is consistent. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again!

  Best Cheese Steak outside of Philly. I couldn't tell you about anything else on the menu. I always get the Philly because it's the only place in NC that serves a Philly the way it should be done

  Upon arriving it looked like a great place to eat.. In fact, I thought.. I might be underdressed... Maybe we should just grab dinner at the pizza place beside of Maxie's.. But we went in anyways, its a Friday night.. So I expected it to be busy, which is fine.. We seat ourselves, and waited 12 minutes until someone finally came to the table to ask if we have been served yet.. We order, wings, fries, salad and the soup of the day.
  When my soup arrived, I egarly dipped my spoon into the new england clam chowder... Which was saltier than the dead sea, we wait a moment longer and receive our entrées.. The Cesar salad, was completely dreadful.. A sad bowl of wilted, brown iceberg lettuce, swimming in dressing, with what seemed like old grey microwaved chicken that I'm pretty sure an alley cat wouldn't even dare touch... Then the cheese covered fries were bland and room temperature... Not sure how you manage to frig up something a learning disabled child could manage to make themselves.. But it happened... Next, the wings.. Though huge.. And fondly talked about amongst friends.. They tasted like I was eating a charcoal brick.. The best thing about this place... Their average tasting ranch and ice cold water.
